1月14日上午消息，据独立博客爱范儿ifanr透露，其从Groupon全球副总裁Mads处得知Groupon中国拓展计划：扩张1000人，销售团队占据700人，首批重点城市将是北京、上海、广州、深圳。

据爱范儿透露，Groupon非常重视中国区的业务，正在进行中国区高端职位CMO(首席市场官)的招聘。另一方面中国区同时在招聘大量销售经理和销售人员，“薪水高于业界平均水平”。

此前新浪科技获悉的一封邮件披露，Groupon正在寻找有才能的人加入Groupon中国管理团队，并计划前3个月内将中国区员工总数增至1000人。爱范儿更进一步透露，这1000人里销售团队有700人，并且首批重点城市将是北京、上海、广州、深圳。

数日前Groupon宣布完成最新一轮融资，共募集资金9.5亿美元。爱范儿透露得到新一轮融资的Groupon也在留意国内的潜在收购对象。

此前Groupon曾在上海约见国内主流团购网站美团、拉手等，希望通过入股的方式进入中国。不过由于其的控股要求，并未与中国的团购网站达成一致。现在看起来Groupon最终选择独立进入中国，这意味着中国团购市场将更加激烈。(崔西)

昨天我们独家披露了 Groupon 的中国计划，其他媒体动作也不慢，Techcrunch 从很特别的途径得到了这个计划的一部分细节（大学的工作招聘网站）。

• 几天前 Groupon 刚刚结束了 9.5 亿美元的新一轮募资，而这笔钱的很大一部分将会砸在中国市场上，这意味着大量的资金跟很有竞争力的薪水；
• 核心管理层由十个人组成，部分是 Groupon 的老员工，不少人有顶级投行及咨询公司的工作经历；
• 上周日他们正式在国内开工，已经招聘了 50 名员工，主要是中层管理职位，到三月份将扩展到一千人。

- Groupon has secured 950mn. EUR, large parts of which are used for penetration of the Chinese market. That means near to endless funding. Compensation is highly, highly competitive.
